A vineyard is listed here because a winery said so in its own words, or because volunteer mappers drew it on OpenStreetMap. Missing vineyards are missing from the wineries’ websites, not from the valley. Vineyards a winery names but that sit outside the valley (Red Mountain, the Yakima Valley, elsewhere in the Columbia Valley) are shown on that winery’s page, not here.

The number is how many wineries name that vineyard; mapped means OpenStreetMap has a drawn parcel for it.
